savage mullet

Its been a while since I've been rocked by a mullet. Not like, 'oh hey, ya, so i guess that person's hair is o-k'. I mean like, ''Great Saint Nicholas' Beard', the ferocity of that mullet is changing the course of my day!'

These life-altering moments are best experienced with friends. Friends who can appreciate the savage impact of a semi-slicked completely wavy lightly silvered sunny day mullet. By the looks of things--this mullet has at least a 30yr lifespan. Savage bro. Savage.

Rat Tail- Faux Hawks & Childhood Dreams

After seeing the faux hawk/rat tail combo on a few gents during a recent visit to New York City, I was intrigued by how well this throwback from my childhood is being pulled off at the close of 2010. Memories returned of my little bro & cousins being subjected to my parents home-made 'Fashion' hair cuts, ranging from said rat tails to literal 'bowl' haircuts. But I suppose not all little guys grew up experiencing the highs (or lows) of the parental back yard barbershop. A friend from Cali who has always wanted a rat tail, is now taking advantage of his fashion freedom (hey, if not now, when?) and sporting the rat tail-faux hawk fusion well.

Although the rat tail has been referred to as "the bastard son of the mullet" (Now That's Nifty Blogspot) the powers-that-be have struck once again, fusing something old with something new, somehow revamping this childhood fave now showcasing from NYC weekend dressy-casuals to Nor-Cal daily do's.

What else can 80's aftershock bring into 2011? Only time will tell.

Lizard Mullet

We've all seen the tiny dogs peeking out of the purse at the mall, cafe, church (true story), and of course the grocery store. But they usually fit into a tiny handbag, a large purse, or even the center pouch pocket of a hooded sweatshirt.

I've never seen the Jurassic Park sized mega duffel bag to accompany a full-grown shoulder perched pet Iguana. At this point, two legitimate questions arise: 1.) What amount of growth hormones do you expect to kick in while you're out on this walk, 2) Just how long is this 'walk' going to be?
